Video: Was Kevin Garnett Right to Ignore Ray Allen During Heat vs. Celtics?

| by Alex Groberman

Kevin Garnett made it clear this summer that he was hurt by Ray Allen’s decision to leave the Boston Celtics for the Miami Heat. When pressed on the matter just a few weeks ago, just to drive the point home, Garnett insisted that he had lost Allen’s number.

Still, despite everything that had been said and despite all indications to the contrary, fans expected to see Garnett and Allen at least pretend to be cool on Tuesday night.

Yeah, that didn’t happen.

When Allen walked over to Garnett before checking into what was at the time a one-point game, he got the coldest cold shoulder ever from his ex-teammate. Check it out:

Allen responded to that by putting up 19 points on five-of-seven shooting (two-of-three from behind the arc) in what wound up being a 13-point Miami victory.

What do you think: was Garnett’s behavior towards Allen justifiable or not?
