The Miami Heat thoroughly dominated the Boston Celtics for all but one quarter on Monday night. Whether it was because Boston was tired from its recently wrapped up series versus the Philadelphia 76ers or simply as a result of Miami just being that much better, it looked as though these two squads didn’t even belong the same court together.
While there were a number of highlights from the game that epitomized the sort of beating that the Heat gave to Kevin Garnett and Co., perhaps none did so better than this one:
Miami ultimately won 93-79. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade finished with 32 and 22 points, respectively. Game 2 will be played on Wednesday, at 8:30 p.m. eastern time.
