Video: Celtics Fake Snapped the Ball to Each Other Before Losing to Lakers

| by Alex Groberman

The Boston Celtics, presumably in honor of their local football team losing the Super Bowl, decided to snap the ball to one another at the beginning of Thursday's game versus the Lakers. How did it go? Well, basically, Jermaine O’Neal started things off by tipping the rock to Kevin Garnett. Garnett then snapped the ball into the backcourt to Rajon Rondo. Rondo snapped the ball to himself, weirdly, and then proceeded to get back to actually playing basketball.

It was hilarious. But not really.

Boston would eventually lose to L.A. in overtime, 88-87.
