The New York Knicks went into Wednesday night’s Game 5 showdown against the Boston Celtics dressed in all black, presumably because they were geared up for a funeral. What they got instead was a six-point walloping on their own court, and a date with the Celtics for what promises to be an extremely stressful Game 6 in Boston.
After the outing, things got a little tense as everyone was leaving the court. For reasons unknown, Celtics guard Jordan Crawford and Knicks guard Raymond Felton exchanged words, and briefly it looked as though something real might pop off. Because it’s basketball, though, nothing did.
