Dumb Derrick Rose Tweets Land Nike Employee in Hot Water

0

Apparently, some people don't know how to think before they speak. Or in social network terms, Google before you Tweet.

This goes for Nike shoe designer, Jason Petrie, who got a lot of hate for his tweet about Derrick Rose after he tore his ACL.

Petrie made a questionable tweet on Saturday night saying that if Rose signed with Nike for his shoe deal, he wouldn't have torn his ACL. As you know, Rose recently signed a mega-million deal with Adidas.

Here was the tweet Petrie wrote:

You got one guy only getting stronger, and one guy breaking down before our very eyes. You chose poorly Pooh...#shouldasignedwithNIKE #GWS

Petrie would then follow with a span of tweets before later apologizing:

Y'all take sh#t too serious!Never want to see anyone get hurt- I hope DRose comes back stronger than ever, he's too good...
