NBA Rumor: Jerry Sloan to Coach the Charlotte Bobcats?

| by

It was kind of surprising last year when Jerry Sloan resigned from his post as head coach of the Utah Jazz, what with him having been there for so long

After a year-long break, the legendary coach is now reportedly looking to get back in the swing of things.

Rumor has it that Sloan is meeting with Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan regarding possibly linking up with that squad.

According to The Salt Lake Tribune:

Former Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan is interested in a return to the NBA.

Sloan told The Salt Lake Tribune on Tuesday that he has talked to Charlotte owner Michael Jordan about the Bobcats’ job and could meet with him as early as this week.

The Bobcats had the worst NBA season of all time this year. Sloan seems like the right guy to turn this struggling group around.
