Video: James Harden and Jeremy Lin Come Up Short, Can’t Get Rockets Past Blazers (Highlights)

| by Alex Groberman

James Harden just didn’t have a third magical effort in him on Saturday night. In front of a very enthusiastic Houston crowd, Harden and the Rockets ultimately fell to the Blazers 95-85.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the way for Portland’s well-balanced attack, putting up 27 points and 11 rebounds in 42 minutes of action. Damian Lillard, who looks to be an early favorite for Rookie of the Year, pitched in 20 points, nine assists and six rebounds as well. Four of the Blazers’ five starters finished in double digits.

For the Rockets, Harden put up 24 points on eight-of-24 shooting. He also turned the ball over five times. Jeremy Lin had 13 points (on five-of-13 shooting) and seven assists.

Check out the highlights from this one in the video below.
