2012 Olympics Video: Argentina’s Facundo Campazzo Hits Carmelo Anthony in Groin, Apologizes to Kobe Bryant

Monday’s Olympic basketball showdown between Team USA and Argentina was pretty competitive for a while, but the lasting images from it won’t be ones pertaining to hoops.

No, the single most noteworthy thing that happened over the course of the game, without a doubt, was what Argentina’s Facundo Campazzo did to Carmelo Anthony.

In response to an earlier cheap shot from Chris Paul, Campazzo opted to hit the New York Knicks’ biggest star with this blow:

Don’t worry, though, Campazzo apologized after the game.

To Kobe Bryant.
