2012 Olympics Results: Team USA vs. Tunisia Game Review

| by The No Look Pass

U.S.A. 110 vs TUNISIA 63

Tunisia shocked the Americans early with a 15-12 lead in the first. Tunisia was making three-pointers early (and continued making three-pointers throughout the game) and Team U.S.A. wasn't exactly playing smart B-Ball with terrible one-and-done pull-up jumpers.

Then Coach Krzyzewski put in his second unit of Kevin Love, Carmelo Anthony, Andre Iguodala, Russell Westbrook, and Deron Williams.

A 14-0 run buried Tunisia in the second quarter. And when some of the starters came back, LeBron James electrified the crowd with this.

It was 46-33 at halftime. And then Team U.S.A. started the second half with the second unit. They got off to a 10-0 start in the third quarter and the Americans never looked back. When Kevin Love got banged up a bit, Anthony Davis came in and threw in about 434 alley-oop dunks. It was fun to see the kid get some PT.

Melo and Love scored 16 points each for Team U.S.A. Tunisia's Makrem Ben Romdhane gave Team U.S.A. fits early... and he ended with an impressive 22-point, 12-rebound performance.

I think people who thought that they were going to beat the 54-point spread were the only ones upset about the Americans winning by 47.

Team U.S.A. is facing Nigeria on Thursday.
