2012 NBA Highlights: New York Knicks vs. Brooklyn Nets (Nov. 26)

| by Alex Groberman

A lot of people believed that Monday night’s showdown between the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets wouldn’t live up to the hype. It did. The latter squad ultimately won 96-89, but they got a hell of a fight from a Jason Kidd-less Knicks squad that looked determined to make a statement.

Brook Lopez led the way for Brooklyn with 22 points (nine-of-20 shooting) and 11 boards. Deron Williams and Gerald Wallace pitched in 16 points apiece, too. Four Nets players ultimately finished in double figures.

Carmelo Anthony led all scorers with 35 points (11-of-25 shooting) and 13 rebounds. Only two Knicks players finished in double figures.
