1992 Dream Team vs. 2012 Team USA: President Barack Obama Weighs In (Video)

| by Alex Groberman

Last week, Kobe Bryant inadvertently started a debate that’s captivated the nation over the past seven days. Who would win in a hypothetical match-up between the current Team USA Basketball squad and the infamous 1992 Dream Team?

Up to this point, we’ve had everyone from news commentators to sports analysts to former NBA players to irritating talking heads like Skip Bayless offer their take. Now, the President of the United States has decided to weigh in.

Here is what the Commander in Chief had to say on the matter during Monday night’s USA versus Brazil showdown (via Yahoo! Sports):

"This is a generational thing," Obama said [...]. "I was around in '92, I was a Bulls fan, so I've got to go with the original Dream Team." [...]

"I suspect that Michael and 'Sir Charles' and others would point out they were probably never down at any point in any of their games," Obama said. "But this is a great team, unbelievable talent."

Well, that settles it.
