Video: Yankees Broadcaster David Cone Refers to Ichiro Suzuki’s Bat as a Chopstick

There is no one-size-fits-all guide to being a baseball broadcaster, but there are certain general rules that you should probably just know. One of those rules? When you are dealing with a Japanese player, try to avoid completely unnecessary, totally needless references to chopsticks.

Nobody ever gave New York Yankees broadcaster David Cone that tip before, apparently. Here is how he decided to describe Ichiro Suzuki’s efforts during yesterday’s outing:
