Last week’s New York Yankees vs. Cincinnati Reds series was about as interesting as you would expect a match-up between 21-19 and 21-20 teams to be. That bit of pessimism aside, though, there was one pretty special highlight that came out of it. During Friday’s game, Reds superstar Joey Votto hit a foul ball into the stands. As is generally the case, everyone shoved aside whoever they came with and oustretched their arms, hoping and praying that they would be able to come down with their own personal souviner. Who ultimately caught it? A father-son tandem that didn’t adopt the every-man-for-himself approach.
