Man Falls 65 Feet From Upper Deck at Turner Field

An unidentified man fell 65 feet from an upper deck at Turner Field in Atlanta, Georgia during a baseball game tonight.

The tragic incident occurred during a game between the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies at about 9 p.m.

The man was taken to the Atlanta Medical Center, where he later died, say Atlanta police.

According to WBSTV.com, the man landed on some air conditioner units in the players' parking area outside the stadium.

The game had just begun and was two hours late due to a rain delay.

Police were still at the stadium at 11 p.m. trying to figure out how the man fell.

"At this time there's no indication of foul play and the fall appears accidental. It appears he fell from an upper-level platform to a secured lot below," said Atlanta police spokesman John Chafee.

There is no word if alcohol was involved.
