Browns' Josh Cribbs on Jerome Harrison: "He’s Doing Pretty Bad"
Last season, the Philadelphia Eagles attempted to send Ronnie Brown to the Detroit Lions in exchange for fellow RB Jerome Harrison. It was essentially a “grass is greener” deal. However, the deal was nixed when health exams showed that Harrison had a brain tumor.
He had the tumor removed and his agent said back in May that he was progressing. However, Cleveland Browns KR/PR Josh Cribbs tells a different story of his former teammate. Cribbs got knocked out and says his family is concerned about his health.
“(My wife) wants me to be seen by another specialist,” Cribbs said. “She wants me to get a CAT scan, especially with what happened to [Harrison]. I still go over to his house every now and then and talk to him. He’s doing pretty bad. He’s in and out of the hospital with seizures. They just don’t want the same thing to happen to me.”
That is absolutely terrible to hear. We don’t know what the long-term effects will be, but we hope Harrison will eventually make a full recovery.
