Two years, 749 days, 26 official tournaments – whatever measurement you want to use, it had been a long time since Tiger Woods won a legitimate golfing competition. On Sunday, with the eyes of the world on him and many waiting for what they assumed would be the latest inevitable collapse, Woods birdied his last two holes to win the Chevron World Challenge by one shot over Zach Johnson.
Woods closed with a 3-under 69 and something last seen on November 15, 2009 – the signature Tiger fist pump.
