Magic's Glen “Big Baby” Davis Makes an Interesting Decision
French/West/Vaughan (FWV) has been selected by Glen “Big Baby” Davis (currently of the Orlando Magic) as his marketing, public relations and endorsement agency of record. Davis is FWV’s first NBA client.
FWV will work with Davis’ business manager, former Stanford football standout Anthony Kimble and his agent, John Hamilton of Performance Sports Management, in promoting the “Big Baby” brand and lining up appropriate corporate partnerships for Davis and his charitable foundation.
Davis, who has already established the Glen “Big Baby” Foundation (providing resources and programs to encourage inner-city youths to stay in school and lead productive lives by focusing on literacy and healthy recreational activities), appears to be very excited about his new relationship with FWV. ”French/West/Vaughan has one of the fastest-growing sports marketing and representation groups in the country,” said Davis. “They are true pros who really understand who I am as a person and can help me use my platform as a professional athlete to build stronger communities by reinforcing positive life choices, including encouraging young people to stay in school and learn to both read and write.”
In the past, Sports Agent Blog highlighted FWV’s relationship with Houston Texans running back Arian Foster for marketing and public relations work, and noted that the Raleigh, North Carolina-based company also provides services to Michael Vick and Simeon Rice, amongst others.
