2011 NFL Fantasy Football: Week 13 Tips

| by

Brady versus the Colts defense could get quite ugly. You know that Brady has a shot at eclipsing 400 yards and three touchdowns every single week. This week, it’s almost gauranteed.

QB Sit Em’ Caron Palmer (OAK) 200 Passing yards 0 TD 2 INT

Find somebody else. Palmer faces another tough defense in the Fish Mammals. The Dolphins defense has allowed only four touchdowns in the last six weeks. Not a defense you want your opposing quarterback to be playing.

RB Start Em’ Marshawn Lynch (SEA) 100 Total yards 1 TD

This judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

Recently, #BeastMode has been nearly a gauranteed touchdown every single week. He should have no problem continuing that streak this week as the Eagles haven’t been able to stop any running back all year.

RB Sit Em’ Steven Jackson (STL) 40 Total yards 0 TD

Jackson faces the top rush defense this week and you can’t trust his passing attack to open up any lanes for him. Should be ugly week for Jackson.

WR Start Em’ Percy Harvin (MIN) 100 Receiving yards 1 TD

It looks like Adrian Peterson should be out once again this week, thus making Harvin the top playmaker on the Vikings offense. Look for him to be a focal point of the offense, just as he was last week.

WR Sit Em’ Pierre Garcon (IND) 35 Receiving yards 0 TD

Looking at Garcon as a viable fantasy option is stupid with Dan Orlovsky now his starting quarterback. Garcon hasn’t produced in weeks and now he has the King of 0-16 as his QB.

TE Start Em’ Kellen Winslow (TB) 85 Receiving yards 1 TD

Carolina can’t stop anyone on defense. All Tampa Bay players are strong plays this week. Winslow is Josh Freeman’s favorite target. Play him. He’s going to be put up big numbers.

TE Sit Em’ Owen Daniels (HOU) 25 Receiving yards 0 TD

Who is T.J. Yates? Nobody knows. Stay away from all Houston receivers, except for Andre Johnson. You have to play him.

Start Em’ DEF Chicago 6 Points Allowed 3 Sacks 3 TO

Facing either Kyle Orton in a new offense or Tyler Polko should be easy picking for the Bears defense. A shutout and a defensive touchdown are definite possibilities.

Sit Em’ DEF Detroit 35 Points Allowed 1 Sack 0 TO

Without Suh, the Lions look like an even worse pick this week against the Saints. Did you see what the Saints did on Monday night? Even with Suh, the Lions defense would have been a tough play. Without him it’s a no brainer to not do so.
