UFC on FX 4 Round-by-Round Review: Steven Siler vs. Joey Gambino

Round 1: Siler looking to find his range with the kicks early, as Gambino comes in and fires off several fights. Siler goes for a takedown, but Gambino avoids it and tries to drop Siler himself. On the exit, Siler lands a big knee to the head of Gambino, who is now bleeding from the forehead. Siler catches a kick, but is unable to use it for a takedown and push in for another takedown. Siler locks in a choke, but Gambino gets out of it.

Siler grabs and gets a takedown, working from side mount to land knees and strikes to the head and body. Gambino rolls out, but Siler takes the back, locks in a hook, but is unable to get the choke. Instead, Siler gets full mount, lands some strikes and transitions into a guillotine choke to record his third UFC victory.
