On the morning of May 19, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones crashed his 2012 Bentley into a telephone pole. When police showed up on scene and conducted the necessary investigation of exactly transpired, they noticed that Jones was slurring his speech and unsteady on his feet. They asked him to take a field sobriety test. Predictably, he refused. Ultimately, they booked him on a DWI.
Earlier this week, Jones pled guilty to driving while intoxicated and had his license suspended indefinitely. He is scheduled to appear for sentencing on June 19.
So that’s it. Just another case of careless athlete putting the lives of innocents on the line by stupidly getting behind the wheel of a car while drunk. That’s all we’re dealing with, right?

You see, it’s now coming out that Jones wasn’t alone in that Bentley on the morning of May 19. Per WBNG:
According to police reports, there were two women riding in Jon Jones' 2012 Bentley when he hit a telephone pole on Binghamton's west side early in the morning on May 19.
Both were injured.
Cara Johnson, 25, was in the front passenger seat and Michele Vojtisek, 25, was sitting in the back passenger seat.

Both women were treated at Wilson Hospital.
So Jones was driving in the wee hours of the morning with a pair of girls. He’s a young, rich and famous guy. It’s really not that all that surprising that he would pick up two ladies somewhere. What’s the beef? The beef is, as noted by Deadspin, that neither Cara Johnson nor Michele Vojtisek also go by the name Jessie Moses – the name of Jones' fiancée and mother of his kids.
