UFC 150: Henderson vs. Edgar II Does Weak Numbers

The Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies' Boxing Commission confirmed the official gate and attendance for UFC 150: Henderson vs. Edgar II. The event took place August 11 from Denver's Pepsi Center.

The numbers, which were released to, saw 13,027 fans for a live gate of $619,955. A total of 4,803 free tickets were issued.

UFC president Dana White cited the recent mass shooting in Colorado during a screening of "The Dark Knight Rises," along with the wildfire that hit the area hard this summer, as reasons for the low figures.

UFC 150 featured Benson Henderson defending his UFC lightweight title against Frankie Edgar, along with Donald Cerrone stopping Melvin Guillard.
