Stephan Bonnar Retires from UFC

| by

UFC president Dana White was asked during a Q&A Tuesday night if we would had seen the last of Stephan Bonnar inside the Octagon. Bonnar was recently defeated by Anderson Silva.

"Yes, Bonnar will be retiring now," White said.

Bonnar, 35 years old, hinted that retirement was in his future earlier this year following an extended layoff. However, the opportunity to face Silva, in Brazil, was too much for the former Ultimate Fighter runner-up to pass up.

"The American Psycho" and Forrest Griffin fought in the finale of the first TUF, a match that remains much-talked about to this day. Bonnar finishes his MMA career with a record of 15-8, including an 8-7 mark inside the Octagon.
