Lightweight fighters Ryan Couture and Conor Heun are headed to Columbus, Ohio, as the two will square off at Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey on March 3, according to a report by MMAjunkie.com. Couture is the son of UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture.
Couture-Heun is likely headed for the Showtime Extreme-televised prelims portion of the event from the Nationwide Arena. The main card, which boasts a women's championship match between Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey, takes place Showtime.
Couture got back on track from his first professional loss by defeating Maka Watson this past September. Couture, who is 3-1 overall, fell to Matt Ricehouse in early 2011.
Heun is 9-4 overall and 1-2 in Strikeforce, snapping a two-fight losing streak with a decision victory over Magno Almeida last year. His losses in Strikeforce came against Jorge Gurgel and K.J. Noons.
