Ed Soares, President of the Resurrection Fighting Alliance and renowned MMA manager to the likes of UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva and more, can't wait for Resurrection Fighting Alliance 4 to make its debut in Fight Town USA at the Texas Station in Las Vegas, Friday night at 5pm PT.
Local fighters like Jimmy Jones, Chidi Njokuani and Tyler Perry are fighting on the card. Also, Team Alpha Male prospect, Lance Palmer (4-0, MMA) is set to scrap. The main event on the 11-fight card features Efrain Escudero and Tyson Griffin.
Soares knows that Escudero and Griffin will deliver in the main event and he's pumped for the upcoming night of fights. "It's going to be a really entertaining fight card. We have Chidi against Phil Dace is the co-main event. We got Marcio Cruz vs Joe Yager. We've got a pretty stacked card."
Recently, Soares announced on Inside MMA that they would merge with the Titan Fighting Championship. He further explained on MMA Fight Corner that the deal is virtually done. "It's pretty much finalized. We basically have merged with them. We've just acquired the people running it to work together and just get all of us together to build up a good organization.

"Like I've said previously, right now in the world of MMA, there's a ton of talent being created out there. Unfortunately, everyday that goes by, it seems like there's less and less opportunity. So I think it's very, very important for new organizations to pop up to be able to develop talent and feed them into the big show. And that's exactly what we're here to do. We're here to create more opportunities for fighters, give them a place where they can start their careers off. And the also, for guys that are having a rough time in the UFC, or in other big shows, they kind of need to go back a little bit to the farm league and build themselves up, that's what we're here for. We're here to provide more opportunities for fighters."
Another fight on the card that Soares is highly anticipating is the debut of UFC lightweight Anthony Pettis' brother, Sergio Pettis (5-0, MMA) vs Jimmy Jones (4-1, MMA). "That's definitely going to be good. A lot of people are interested in seeing Sergio. He's got some good genes, you know, with his brother. If he's half as exciting as Anthony, you know it's going to be a great television fight. Something in those Pettis'."
One thing the RFA has done is provided fans with a great fight card that has interesting matchups. Soares said that's the goal of the organization.
"We want to create good fights. It's not like we're trying to put lopsided fights together…We want to put real competitive fights that are going to be good on televison for people to really test themselves. Because to get to that the next level, when you step up and go to the big organizations, you're going to be fighting top competition. So I don't think it makes sense for anybody to sit there and have easy fights to build up their records – because the minute they really get tested, their going to crumble."

One of the prospects that Soares was particularly psyched to have on the card is Brazlian fighter, Guilherme Trindade. He holds a record of 8-0 and has seven knockouts. Prior to joining RFA, he was at 170 but has gone down a weight class to face James Krause on the televised card on AXS TV.
"This is his first fight at 155 and I believe he'll go down to 145, not a problem, because he's finally starting to look in shape. This kid's got heavy hands, he's pretty good all around, but he's a very exciting fighter," Soares said.
