Quinton "Rampage" Jackson Wants to Go Out Strong

| by

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson appeared as a guest on HDNet's Inside MMA recently, and Jackson continued to claim he will leave the UFC after his next fight.

Jackson had a planned bout with Mauricio "Shogun" Rua called off due to knee surgery he needs, but that doesn't mean Rua isn't on his mind. Forrest Griffin, another former opponent of Jackson's, is right there, as well.

"I would love to fight somebody like 'Shogun.' Somebody like Forrest," Jackson said. "Somebody who beat me before. Somebody who wants to put on a good fight. I'm tired of fighting these guys who are cowards. I call them cowards. They just run around the cage, they game plan and they take you down. It's okay to take people down, but they just hump you and lay down on top of you the whole time. That's what's disgusting to me."

It appears Jackson has kept the same attitude towards fighters like Rashad Evans and current UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Of course, both also defeated Jackson recently.
