Well, this is embarrassing.

The South China Morning Post recently responded to Joe Frazier’s death, like most publications have, with a full page dedicated to the boxing legend. It featured his picture, quotes about him from people who loved and respected him, and some information about his career.

Sounds good, right? Wrong.

Unfortunately, the South China Morning Post accidentally used a picture of another (currently living) boxing legend instead of the one who actually died two days ago. Either because they had no idea who Joe Frazier was, or because of some weird administrative error, the paper published the tribute to Frazier with a picture of George Foreman.

Kudos to Deadspin for finding this.
