Nelly Zings Floyd Mayweather On National TV (Video)

Floyd Mayweather Jr. may be the best boxer in the world, but that doesn’t mean he’s a very liked figure. Most people seem to either love or hate Mayweather, and feel passionately about whichever side they stand on.

It's safe to say that Nelly stands firmly in the "not a fan" crowd.

Nelly appeared on Dan Le Batard’s “Highly Questionable” yesterday and was asked by Le Batard about his alleged beef with Mayweather. Nelly, in case you aren’t aware, is dating Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend Shantel Jackson.

At first, Nelly denied any beef between him and Mayweather. But as he continued to talk, Nelly couldn’t help but show his true feelings.

“I don’t have a beef with Floyd Mayweather, for the most part,” Nelly told Le Batard. “The whole thing is misunderstood. I try to understand where he’s coming from, which is a little hard to do. I guess it’s one of those things where he is who he is. He’s one of those people who doesn’t like the word ‘no’ said to him.”

Then came the zinger.

“I don’t know — it’s kind of hard talking to a guy who hasn’t graduated from high school,” he said.
