MMA fighter "War Machine" (yes, that is his legal name) allegedly beat up his ex-girlfriend Christy Mack and her unidentified friend last Friday.

Sports Illustrated reports that police are searching for War Machine in connection to the beatings, but he is yet to be found.

According to, Mack released graphic pictures of her injuries along with a statement on Twitter. She claimed that War Machine (real name Jon Koppenhaver) arrived at her Las Vegas home at 2 a.m. on Friday and "began beating my friend."

"Once he was finished, he sent my friend away and turned his attention to me," wrote Mack. "He made me undress and shower in front of him, then dragged me out and beat my face. I have no recollection of how many times I was hit."

Mack added that she suffered "18 broken bones," some "missing teeth" and cannot see out of her left eye. There are also reports that her jaw was broken.

War Machine has appeared on the TV show "Ultimate Fighter," and previously signed a contract with the MMA tournament group Bellator, which has since fired him.

"We have a zero tolerance policy here at Bellator when it relates to any form of domestic violence, and after learning of this latest incident involving (Jon Koppenhaver) War Machine, Bellator is releasing him from his promotional contract with the organization," Bellator President Scott Coker recently told TMZ.

On Sunday, the War Machine posted a series of tweets that made it sound as if he were the victim:

I'm not a bad guy, I went to surprise my gf, help her set up her show and to give her an engagement ring and ended up fighting for my life.

The cops will never give me fair play, never believe me. Still deciding what to do but at the end of the day it's all just heart breaking.

I only wish that man hadn't been there and that Christy & I would be happily engaged.I don't know y I'm so cursed. One day truth will come out.

According to, War Machine attacked a former girlfriend in 2009. TMZ reported that he was convicted of felony assault in 2010 and went to jail. In August 2013, War Machine tweeted that he raped Mack. reported that War Machine tweeted:

Just raped @ChristyMack She tried to make me wait until "after errands" As if! =p

He then added (and later removed):

Real men rape.(Their GF's and wives, not strangers, don't get your panties in a bunch.)

War Machine then lashed out at his critics on Twitter:

Apparently you idiots didn't read my tweet prior to the one y'all are crying about, it puts it in the right context. Sensitive a-- bitches.

War Machine capped of his rant with this lovely tweet:

Context is the word...y'all motherf-------- just love to take what I say out of CONTEXT and then attempt to demonize me with it. #DIESLOW

Mack eventually came to his defense and tweeted (but later removed):

To be clear, @WarMachine170 says stupid things at times; we all know this. He did not rape me, nor would he rape any woman (or man).
