MMA Analysis: Bellator 55 Results

The semi-finals for Bellator’s Bantamweight tournament continued on Saturday night at Bellator 55 which took place outdoors at the Cocopah Resort and Casino in Yuma, Arizona featuring a killer card that included Bellator Light Heavyweight champion Christian M’Pumbu in a non-title bout against Travis Wiuff.

The quarter finals for the Bantamweight tournament produced two strong candidates for “KO of the Year” with the spectacularly finished defeats of current Bellator Featherweight champion Joe Warren and Wilson Reis at the hands and knees of Alexis Vila and Eduardo Dantas, with Vila toppling Warren with a beautiful punch and Dantas dropping Reis with an incredible flying knee strike.

Bellator’s third season Bantamweight tournament runner-up Ed West and the always entertaining BJJ wizard Marcos Galvao rounded out the semi-final bracket for the evening’s card and the results for the featured bouts are as follows.
