Mike Brown Signs a Brand New Deal with UFC

Mike Brown, a former WEC featherweight champion, will give it another go inside the UFC. Brown announced Wednesday that he has signed a five-fight deal and will remain active instead of retiring.

"The last couple of years were kind of rough on me," said Brown, in a post on his personal website. "I had a lot of injuries and I was feeling fatigued during training and fights. Going into the last fight....I was pretty certain that was going to be my last fight."

Brown, however, went on to say he has signed a new deal with the UFC, adding that he plans to finish out the five fights before retiring.

Brown won his second UFC bout by defeating Daniel Pineda at UFC 146. He is 26-8 in his career.
