| by

Since Ben Askren (10-0) made his Bellator debut he has been unstoppable. With seven Bellator wins, he is also the promotion's welterweight champion where he holds two successful title defenses. If Karl Amoussou (16-4-2) was to take the title, he knows it means a possible spot on the UFC roster.

"I will make more concrete plans when the belt tightly around my waist," said Amoussou to TATAME. "I want to fight the best fighters in the world. For now, I'm happy in Bellator, they treat me well."

Amoussou dropped his Bellator debut before winning the Season 6 welterweight tournament. In two of his tournament wins, he stopped his opponent in the first round. He needed less than a minute to finish Bryan Baker (18-3) in the finals of Bellator 72.

Askren vs. Amoussou headlines Bellator 86 from the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, OK. The show airs on Spike TV.
