Jon Jones Goes on SportsCenter, Talks About Family

| by

UFC light heavyweight Jon Jones made an appearance on ESPN's SportsCenter on Tuesday, and was joined by his brother, Arthur Jones. Arthur is a defensive end for the Baltimore Ravens, who play the New England Patriots this Sunday night.

That NFL contest will also feature another member of the Jones family, as Chandler Jones is a member of the Patriots defense. Jon Jones faces Vitor Belfort Saturday evening at UFC 152: Jones vs. Belfort.

Arthur admitted that Jon was the "alpha male" in the family, but that is "paying off for him in the right now now." Jon also said that he was the "black sheep of the family, but is turning out to be okay."

Arthur was asked how it feels to watch his younger brother compete inside the Octagon, which he will do before facing the Patriots.

"It's a rush, a rush I can't explain," Arthur said. "Being the older brother, I can't help him out there (and it's tough). I know he's well-prepared and trains hard, and I can't wait to see him perform."
