Jon Jones Didn't Have Much to Do on Saturday

| by

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was suppose to be putting the final touches on his preparations for a title defense against Dan Henderson this past Saturday evening. However, due to Henderson's knee injury, the fight - and ultimately, the entire UFC 151 card - was scrapped.

On Twitter Saturday afternoon, a follower posted to Jones, "Thanks to (Jones) I have no plans tonight...."

Not wanting to be out-done by the person, Jones replied back with, "Thanks to the old man and his knee I don't either."

Jones will face Vitor Belfort at UFC 152: Jones vs. Belfort on September 22. Henderson is hopeful to return to action later this year.
