Invicta FC 1 Complete Results: Marloes Coenen Gets Big Win

Former Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion Marloes Coenen scored a victory in the main event of the first Invicta Fighting Championships card Saturday night, defeating Romy Ruyssen inside Municipal Hall in Kansas City. The all-female fight card was streamed live.

Coenen scored a decision victory, and proceeded to call out current Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey following the win.

Other notable winners included Jessica Penne and Liz Carmouche, along with Sarah D'Alelio. Kaitlin Young and Leslie Smith fought to a draw.

The promotion announced its next card, set for July 28, with Olympic silver medalist Sara McMann taking on Shayna Bazler.
