Eddie Yagin Health Update

| by

Eddie Yagin recently stated that he is recovering ahead of schedule from a subdural hematoma that nearly ended his MMA career. Yagin suffered the injury in the days leading up to a fight with Dennis Siver.

Yagin told Radio that he is looking to meet with UFC doctors soon to seek clearance to fight again. Yagin (16-5-1) has gone 1-1 in his UFC career and was told to rest for six months following the injury.

"As soon as I landed, it's like my headaches were gone and everything started healing faster," said Yagin, of moving from San Diego to Hawaii.

The fighter put himself to a test, running Koko Head - a trail with a 10,000-foot gain in elevation. Yagin said, "That was the first time I tried to train."
