Does "Korean Zombie" Deserve a Shot at Jose Aldo?

| by

Chan Sung Jung took to Twitter to make his case for the next shot at taking down UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo. Now, "The Korean Zombie" remains on the forward-push to getting his shot.

"You never know when you're going to get that opportunity, so I'd like to jump in there as soon as possible," said Jung, while appearing on MMAjunkie.com Radio recently.

The main issue is that Erik Koch has been named the next contender to Aldo. The two were set to meet later this month, but an injury knocked Aldo out. Now, they are still locked together, though a date has yet to be announced.

Jung defeated Dustin Poirier recently for his third consecutive victory. He owns a 13-3 mark overall, and a perfect 3-0 record in the UFC.

The South Korean fighter isn't planning on waiting forever for his crack at "Scarface," as he said he will fight whenever the UFC offers him a bout.

"It doesn't matter. Anybody," Jung said. "If it's not Aldo, anybody."
