Devin Cole to Replace Ben Rothwell, Fight Travis Browne at UFC on FOX 4

Travis Browne will have to wait and see if the UFC can find him a new opponent, as Ben Rothwell has been forced out of the planned UFC on Fox 4 match. confirmed an ankle injury suffered in practice knocked Rothwell out.

UFC on Fox 4 takes place August 4. The injury is expected to keep Rothwell (32-8) out for a few weeks.

Browne (13-0-1) is coming off a win over Chad Griggs that earned him Submission of the Night honors at UFC 145. He has defeated the likes of Stefan Struve and Rob Broughton, with his lone non-win coming in a draw with Cheick Kongo.

-UPDATE- According to, Devin Cole has been signed to face Browne. Cole is a former Strikeforce fighter who ran into legal troubles when he was accused of rape and sodomy in 2008. He plead guilty to charges of assault and sexual harassment.
