Dana White Thinks Wanderlei Silva is Done?

Wanderlei Silva made a game effort in his recent five-round war with Rich Franklin at UFC 147. "The Axe Murderer," however came out on the losing end, and UFC president Dana White believes that may have been his last fight inside the Octagon.

"I'm not saying he needs to retire, but he's getting close," said White, during a recent interview with "I think Wanderlei is coming to the end. This is a young man's game. We'll see what happens."

The former ruler of PRIDE has won just three times since 2006, dropping seven fights - four of which have come via knockout. White has made it his mission to try and get fighters out of the sport before any serious injuries take place.

"He looked good in that fight (with Franklin)," White said. "He almost won, and it's not like he got knocked out. And Rich Franklin can crack (fighters). He just knocked Chuck (Liddell) out."

Silva has his fight team that he runs out of Las Vegas, and will likely be a person the UFC uses in media events and promotional events, much like Liddell has been.
