Now, Hardy returns home to face Amir Sadollah this Saturday night at UFC on Fuel TV: Struve vs. Miocic. Hardy-Sadollah will be the co-main event from Nottingham, England.
"There is pressure on me to win and score a KO because I'll have hundreds of people in the arena on Saturday night I've known for years," Hardy said. "But nothing, nothing will compare pressure-wise to my last fight against Duane Ludwig where my UFC career was on the line. Now, I am just taking it one fight at a time."
Hardy (24-10) knows what it feels like to be talked about as an elite fighter, having won seven consecutive fights earlier in his career - including his first four in the UFC. After a loss to Georges St-Pierre for the UFC welterweight title, "The Outlaw" found himself stuck in a hole, dropping four straight.

Thanks to his willingness to always stand-and-trade, however, Hardy was given another chance to perform by the UFC. He stopped Ludwig earlier this year, earning Knockout of the Night honors at UFC 146.
Hardy will return to a familiar sound when he enters the Octagon, deciding to use the original "England Belongs To Me" song by Cock Sparrer instead of the 2010 version with himself on backing vocals.
"I lost four times in the UFC after walking out to that version," Hardy said, "which obviously is karma for my poor signing."
