Anderson Silva vs. Georges St-Pierre: Would it Take Place at Cowboys Stadium?

| by

Several times Wednesday, either UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre or UFC president Dana White were asked about a possible super-fight between GSP and UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. And, as best they could, neither were able to shake the same question.

St-Pierre is currently in the final stages of preparation for a title fight with Carlos Condit November 17 at UFC 154: St-Pierre vs. Condit. Rumors of Silva attending the event were first reported on UFC Tonight Tuesday, and White seemed to confirm them during a conference call.

People were so furious about this Pepsi ad that Pepsi pulled it after just one day. Watch it here and decide if it's offensive:

"There's no doubt that Anderson Silva showing up to cheer Georges St-Pierre on (is because) he wants him to win this fight, and he wants to fight him after," White said. "I'd say yes (there's a good chance GSP-Silva square off inside the Octagon if St-Pierre wins)."

As best he could, St-Pierre tried to brush talk of a match up with "The Spider" to the wayside, saying, "I don't care about Anderson Silva. He can do whatever he wants. I am focusing on Carlos Condit. That's all that matters to me."

White mentioned three possible locations for a potential GSP-Silva battle, bringing up a soccer arena in Brazil, the Rogers Centre in Toronto, and Cowboy Stadium in Dallas.
