2013 NFL Draft: Boston College's John Wetzel Signs with CAA Football
Boston College offensive tackle John Wetzel has made his decision on representation, and has given his blessing to football agent Tom Condon of Creative Artists Agency (CAA) Football. That Condon signed a Boston College player is not at all surprising.
In 2012, the only player selected from Boston College was inside linebacker Luke Kuechly. He was the ninth overall selection and the fifth CAA client to be selected by that point in the Draft. In 2011, there was also only one player taken from BC. Offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo was selected by the Indianapolis Colts with the twenty-second overall pick. He was also represented by CAA.
Wetzel is not projected to be taken nearly as high as the Boston College players represented by Condon in the past two NFL Drafts, but he does have the size to play at the next level (6’7 308 lbs). NFLDraftScout.com currently lists him as the 202nd best player overall, eighteenth at his position and a possible sixth round pick.
CAA has also signed Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson. There will be many additional signings to report for the mega-agency prior to the Draft.
