2012 Fantasy Football Week 6 Wide Receivers to Watch: Devin Aromashodu, Kendall Wright and More

Let’s take a look at some Wide Receivers (WR) that might be worthy of scooping off the waiver wire heading into Week 6. If you have any waiver wire questions, feel free to post them in our Fantasy Football Forum.

Devin Aromashodu MIN | WR

The Vikings passing game is starting to come alive, and with a matchup against the Redskins week 6 they should be able to continue their hot streak. The Skins D has been really hurt with injuries, and they have been giving up a lot of points to opposing offenses. Aromashodu hasn’t been amazing this year, but he is emerging as one of the top targets for Ponder. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a bye-week fill-in

Kendall Wright TEN | WR

The rookie receiver for Tennessee has been on this list a few times now, and I think this kid could be good. With Washington getting older and Britt not 100% I think Wright could end up being the receiver with the most value for the Titans. He has 20 catches in the last 3 weeks, and he appears to be the favorite target of new quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. (about 35% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look in deeper leagues

Take Our Poll

Randall Cobb GB | WR

I used my number one waiver in a couple leagues to pick up Cobb after week 1, and right when it looks like I wasted it he has 2 big games in a row. He is getting a few extra looks with Jennings being hurt, but the Packers are going to find a way to get the ball in his hands. Cobb is still going to be somewhat inconsistent, but his big play potential is way to high to be unowned in so many leagues. (about 65% owned)
Recommendation: Must add in all leagues

Andre Roberts ARI | WR

Roberts was picked up in a lot of leagues heading into week 5, but after a mediocre performance I think a lot of people might give up on him. However, I think he is a great play week 6 against the Bills. The Bills D is terrible, and even though I think could apply a decent pass rush against the Arizona offense line, they should still be able to score some points against the Bills. Look for the Cardinals offense to yield a lot of fantasy points this week. (about 55% owned)
Recommendation: Worth a look as a bye-week fill-in

Josh Gordon CLE | WR

Gordon burst onto the scene week 5 with 2 catches for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns. Obvisouly the first red flag should be that he only had 2 catches, but it’s hard to ignore the 2 touchdowns. He was a pretty high draft pick for the Browns in 2012, going in the second round so there is some upside here. I expect him to be extremely inconsistent, but he certainly has my attention and I will be keeping a close eye on him moving forward. (about 5% owned)
Recommendation: Worth keeping an eye on
