Yale Grad Jumps To Death After Reportedly Stabbing Friend During Threesome

| by Emily Smith

Yale University graduate Tyler Carlisle jumped to his death after stabbing his friend in a jealous rage during a threesome, according to the Daily Mail.

Carlisle reportedly stabbed his friend Alexander Michaud in the neck with a knife on May 26. He then threw himself out a window and fell six stories to his death from an off-campus apartment in New Haven, Connecticut.

Gawker reportedly obtained the police report, which revealed that Carlisle stabbed Michaud as a result of jealousy during a threesome. Carlisle was allegedly upset that Michaud was getting more attention from the unnamed woman than he was.

“Michaud, [the female] and Carlisle had all been drinking,” a police officer wrote in her report, according to the Daily Mail. “The three of them were having sex in the bedroom, and Carlisle started to get jealous of Michaud and [the female].

"Carlisle grabbed a knife that was on the nightstand next to the bed. Carlisle stabbed Michaud in the neck area."

Michaud reportedly told the woman to call 911 as she held a white T-shirt to his neck. Carlisle then went to the living room and paced back and forth, repeating the words, “I’m sorry.”

“Carlisle sat on the windowsill and said he was going to jump," the officer added. "Michaud did not see Carlisle jump out of the window.”

Michaud was taken to the hospital and declared to be in stable condition.

According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, many of Carlisle’s friends had expected him to seek a career in politics after graduation.
