Woman Explains Why She Doesn't Need A Job

| by David Bonner

Simone Toon doesn't have to work for a living.

That’s because she’s a “sugar baby,” reports the New York Post.

Sugar babies are “attractive people looking for the finer things in life,” according to the relationship website Seeking Arrangement. “They appreciate exotic trips and gifts. Sugar Babies get to experience a luxurious lifestyle, and meet wealthy people on a regular basis.”

In Toon’s words, “A sugar baby is somebody who lives a nice lifestyle, living in luxury. You can live in a nice apartment, funded by your sugar daddy. You are just taken care of by an older man.”

Seeking Arrangement bills itself as “the leading Sugar Daddy dating site where over 5 million members fuel mutually beneficial relationships on their terms.” Toon used the site to find her sugar daddies.

With a sugar daddy, the website notes, “Money isn’t an issue, thus they are generous when it comes to supporting a Sugar Baby.” For Toon, this means a gym membership, international travel and chef-cooked meals. And, of course, breast enlargements.

A resident London, the 25-year-old Toon reportedly stays in bed each day until noon, then goes shopping at elegant department stores.

“I go to Harvey Nichols and Harrods usually once a day. And I probably buy something every couple of days. Once every week I buy a new handbag,” Toon told Barcroft Media. “I could never ever imagine being with someone who wouldn’t treat me and wouldn’t pay for my lifestyle. I tried and it just didn’t work.”

Toon did have a job as a model when she was 18, then switched to being a full-time sugar baby when she was 20. “I was introduced to an older guy, who was very successful and it happened naturally. I found him really attractive and I liked where he lived, I liked the lifestyle and that’s how I became a sugar baby,” she explained.

Toon is quick to point out that a sugar baby is not the same thing as an escort. “An escort is seeing people every hour. I’m not. I’m seeing the same person exclusively,” she says, explaining that she has seen six different sugar daddies in the past five years.

“You fall in love, you are heartbroken. Just because they are older and richer, it doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t get hurt,” she notes from experience.

And she admits that being dependent on a wealthy man for everything has its drawbacks. For example, when she broke up with her first sugar daddy, she didn’t know how to take care of herself. “I think it took me a little while to overcome the fact I’m on my own now, I have to depend on myself I have to find a job, I have to kind of pay rent and stuff, that was the difficult part,” she explains.

She says she sometimes stays in an unhappy sugar daddy relationship just for the money. “I have been in situations where I’m not happy with the person I am with and I haven’t broken it off just because of the financial situation.”

Plus, she just really likes the fancy perks. “The most lavish gift I’m given is probably a car. That was really nice. It was a brand new Range [Rover] Evoque, worth $31,000, which was perfect for me,” she said.

Travel is another big plus. “I went to Dubai last week, for five days with my current sugar daddy. It was amazing. He just said ‘here’s $9,960, go shop, go enjoy yourself.’”
