A New Zealand woman somehow drove for around 200 miles while asleep at the wheel and also managed to send text messages during the incident.
Mirror reports that New Zealand police received a 999 call in the middle of the night from a woman who was worried her friend had driven after taking sleeping medication.
The woman at the wheel was found after driving for five hours about 200 miles from her home. She reportedly pulled into the driveway of her old house and had no memory of the long journey.
Police were informed that nearly a year earlier, the woman had been caught sleep driving. They attempted to track the driver via her mobile phone.

Information began to show the police that the motorist was using the phone to send texts while she drove from her Hamilton home to the beachside hamlet of Mount Maunganui via Auckland, according to The Inquisitr.
“We have sought an urgent order forbidding her to drive and to seek medical advice on her suitability to remain holding her driver’s licence.” Sergeant Dave Litton said.
“While her being found safe and well is a relief for everyone involved, the potential for tragedy was huge. We’re urging people suffering medical conditions to be open and honest with their doctors and seek advice if the medication they are prescribed affects their ability to drive or not,” Litton added.
