A former Clark Atlanta University student was kidnapped, raped and held ransom for Atlanta Falcons tickets.

On Aug. 29, the female victim met 23-year-old Jaylan Martez Wallace in one of the university’s parking lots. They later reconnected at a home in the Lithonia area, according to DeKalb County warrants obtained by AJC.

Wallace then allegedly carjacked and kidnapped the woman at gunpoint. He raped her, and forced her to have sex with 17-year-old Xavious Vaughn.

Neither Wallace or Vaughn are students at Clark Atlanta University.

The victim was held overnight, and then taken to a library where a ransom of tickets to a Falcons game were paid “for her freedom.”

A ticket to a 2016 Falcons game can cost $35 to more than $200, depending on the seat’s location, according to Ticketmaster.

On average, a Falcons ticket cost $78.83 in 2015, Statista notes. Therefore, the woman’s ransom may have been worth less than $160.

It is unknown who delivered the tickets to set the woman free, AJC reports.

While the incident took place in August, authorities did not arrest Wallace or Vaughn until October. Police contacted Wallace in September, but he failed to come in for questioning.

How Wallace and Vaughn were identified is unclear.

Both face charges of rape, armed robbery and kidnapping, and are being held without bond.
