Will Smith became a hero to one fan when he saved his phone, which had fallen underneath the actor's car.
A group of fans greeted Smith, 48, as he left his New York City hotel on Dec. 1, and he stopped to talk to his fans, sign autographs and take selfies, Just Jared reports.
When one fan pulled out his phone for a photo, the phone dropped and slid underneath the car waiting for Smith. Will saw the fall happen, so he quickly got on the ground and picked up the phone and gave it back to the fan.

The two then took a photo together with the phone Smith saved.
Smith is in New York to promote the upcoming "Collateral Beauty," in which he portrays an advertising executive who suffers a personal tragedy and then retreats from life, the Daily Mail reports.The film hits theaters on Dec. 16.
