Police in the Los Angeles area say they found the abandoned car of a missing 28-year-old woman on Jan. 24, two days after she was last seen in her Hollywood Hills apartment.
Authorities say a tow truck driver in Antelope Valley spotted Laura Lynne Stacy's locked car on a remote street with no keys inside, reports KTLA.
Laura's parents quickly flew out from Colorado after hearing about their daughter's disappearance.
"It's been a nightmare and I just want to be woken up from a bad dream," said her mother, Marcy Stacy. "A lot of people love her and praying for her and want her home safely."

Helicopters are searching the area, while loved ones are using their own cars to try to find her.
“We’re going to be out searching all morning and we’d love to get as many people out to help us as possible," Marcy said.
