A London woman got an unpleasant surprise when a Starbucks barista wrote "virgin" instead of her actual name on her strawberry Frappuccino.
Rosie Anderson, 22, had already left the cafe when she realized what the barista had done. Instead of drinking her Frappuccino, she took a picture of the cup and sent an email to Starbucks' customer service department.
"I was so angry, they may as well have written 'troll' on my cup. That's how it made me feel," Anderson said, according to the Daily Mail. "I can laugh about it now, but what if the staff are doing that to every girl who goes in on their own? It could really upset them, especially if they're really insecure."

An automated response to her email only upset her more, and after sending a second message she received a letter of apology with two drink vouchers.
"I don't feel like I've had an apology," she said. "Looking back, while I was waiting for my drink, the two guys behind the counter were giggling too. I don't know if they were laughing at me."
Anderson said the male barista had specifically asked for her name, and she had even spelled it out for him.
"I said Rosie and I thought I spelled it out to them," she said. "There's no way they could mistake Rosie with virgin."

The experience has turned her off to the popular chain cafe.
"I'll never go to Starbucks again," she said. "They've been so rude and I'll throw the [drink] vouchers away."
Starbucks released a statement apologizing for the incident.
"We are disappointed to learn of this incident and would like to sincerely apologize to our customer for her experience," a spokesperson said. "We strive to provide an inclusive and positive experience for all and this is not representative of the service we know our customers expect."
This certainly isn't the first time a restaurant has had to issue an apology for its employees' behavior. In 2014, a McDonald's in Morehead City, North Carolina, made the news when a woman found a swastika, drawn in butter, on the inside of her bun. The fast-food chain later fired the person responsible, according to USA Today.
