Actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly agreed to a temporary custody deal, giving Jolie their six children for three weeks.
The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services will then look at the deal again after Oct. 20 to determine next steps, the Daily Mail reports.
Pitt will be allowed to see the children while monitored by a therapist, at least during the first visit. Whether or not there mental health professional will accompany Pitt afterwards will be determined later.
"Both Brad and Angelina decided between them that the first visit would be done with a therapist," said an anonymous insider source. "There was absolutely nothing mandated."

Pitt will also reportedly be voluntarily undergoing random drug and alcohol tests. TMZ says a law enforcement source told it that Pitt had previously tested negative for these.
The whole family will allegedly receive counseling, both individually and together.
"This is a completely voluntary agreement that has a structured decision-making plan," the source stressed.
Sources say the couple agreed to the deal because they wanted to "heal" the family and do what's best for their children: 15-year-old Maddox, 12-year-old Pax, 11-year-old Zahara, 10-year-old Shiloh and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

On Sept. 19, the Hollywood couple stunned the world when they announced they were getting a divorce.
While why exactly they are separating has not been confirmed, some sources claim the two fought on a flight on their private plane, Us Weekly reports.
"[He] became a big yeller," the source claims. "And she would not tolerate him yelling at the kids. There were a few times Angie said she was terrified."
Jolie reportedly believed he was being verbally abusive to one of the children. Other sources close to couple say he had merely lost his temper.
"When he raises his voice and yells at the kids, it's almost comical," the source said. "He's not one of those guys with a temper. He's not a drill sergeant."
Some sources say the couple have long argued over what is an appropriate parenting style.
Some allege Pitt is more of a traditionalist while Jolie has a more relaxed attitude.
"Brad wants them to have a normal upbringing and worries that they’ll come out spoiled, elitist and not grounded," a source once said before the split. "But Angie feels they should be 'children of the world.' They argue about it all the time: heated, screaming fights."
